AMF Bowls a Strike with Multi-Channel Mobile Strategy
AMF Bowling Centers rolls out a hip new multi-channel mobile strategy that attracts younger demographics to a favorite family pastime
Austin, TX (PRWEB) November 16, 2011
Since launching a multi-channel mobile strategy in January of this year, AMF Bowling Centers has connected with nearly 126,000 bowlers through opt-in SMS campaigns, with 28,000 coming direct from AMF’s mobile website as of October 2011. Along with 3Seventy, a leader in mobile marketing and mobile customer relationship management, AMF Bowling Centers developed a mobile strategy and roadmap utilizing SMS, Mobile Web, Traditional Web and Social Media to develop their mobile database and reach expanded revenue goals. The results have been eye opening, with over a million coupons sent to customers using 3Seventy’s proprietary unique coupon code technology integrated with AMF’s POS system.
“We are excited with the continued results of our mobile marketing campaign, and have seen a new customer demographic increase in frequency to AMF centers across the country. Due to immediacy and coupon rates being significantly higher that other media, we plan to roll out additional mobile features and promotions for our customers in 2012.” said Merrell Wreden, Vice President of Marketing for AMF Bowling Centers.
3Seventy has built a platform for AMF to enable a $1000 –A-Day Giveaway in December. Bowlers can obtain a scratch off like lottery ticket from any AMF bowling center beginning November 18 and then enter through SMS or web. Winners will be announced daily starting December 1 through mobile and Facebook. AMF believes they’ll see both increased retail traffic and significant growth in its mobile VIP club during the promotion.
